Outstanding shop!. The products are delicious and the shop is lovely.Will definitely visit again to satisfy my sweet tooth.
Above and Beyond. I searched for a month and was unable to find a bakery in the Tampa Bay area that makes Pignoli cookies (which seemed crazy). I went into Sweet Avas hoping to find them there and when I didnt thought I was out of luck… then the owner said that she had never made them before and it may take her a few test runs, but she would make them for me. They were awesome!!! I couldnt believe, unlike all of the other bakeries in the area that just said no, we dont carry them, she went out of her way to make them special for me and I was so happy with the result! Sweet Sweet Ava’s. Sweet Ava’s Cookies, Cupcakes & Gifts is my favorite place to go for sweets.The shop is beautiful and smells great when you walk in. It’s a great place to goif you just want a cookie or want a gift basket or platter for parties, filled with the most beautiful and delicious cupcakes and cookies. Besides being tasty (which they are!) they are almost too pretty to eat. The quality of the sweets at Sweet Ava’s is matched only by the terrific service to its customers. I highly recommend it.

Sweet Ava’s is the BEST!. Sweet Ava’s Cookies, Cupcakes & Gifts is an absolute favorite of my entire family and me. Walking into the shop I always feel as though I am being transported back in time to my grandmother’s kitchen by the wonderful aroma of freshly baked melt-in-your-mouth cookies and cakes. ***SIGH*** Having sampled so many of the indescribably delicious offerings, I would be hard-pressed to try and select just one item as my favorite as they all transcend the highest level of lusciousness! The cupcakes can be made to order for special occasions and the artistry that goes into the decorating of the cupcakes is ingenious. Looking for a special gift? Sweet Ava’s gift shop offers items not to be found elsewhere, in an area designed much like shops found only in high-end urban settings. I am a very happy customer!
Different name, same great cookies. I’ve tried most of the cookies offered at Sweet Ava’s and I’ve been delighted by the quality and flavors. My understanding is that the same owner has been making the cookies (using the same original Chris’ Cookies recipes) since she bought the shop over a year ago. And I’d like to put in a good word for the cupcakes. Awesome. Especially the Bailey’s Irish Cream ones. 🙂
This place is awesome! When you walk in, you are immediately greeted with the smell of fresh baked cookies and some of the cutest gift giving decor around! We took home 8 different flavors of cookies and had a salted caramel coffee while we were there. Every single cookie was delish and the coffee is the best I’ve ever had! They also had cupcakes and pound cakes that looked amazing! This is the place to go if you want to be the hit of the party… you buy an adorable platter, load it up with to-die-for cookies and the hostess will think you rock!
