Getting worse every time I go. This place keeps getting worse. The new chef does not know how to cook food. The veal is tough, the chicken is not butchered or pounded, pasta plates come out of the kitchen swimming in water. Last time I went here the food took over 45 minutes and was not correct. This is too bad, because it could be a charming neighborhood place but they keep running it into the ground.
Goood food, ok service. I really like going to Tates despite the fat you have to wait for service sometimes, ita a great local spot and and not one of those chains, My favorite is the Greek salad which can serve 4 ppl and my favorite pizza is the BBQ. keep up the good work
Food is always great. However, today a group of six of us came in for lunch. We arrived around 11:15. It was not busy nor did it get busy while we were there. Service was very poor and it took us over fifteen minutes to get our check. The waitresses were not happy people and never smiled but instead acted aggravated. We were late getting back to work and will probably not come in again during lunch.
Yup, frozen bar food.
Sat in the bar on a slow afternoon. Service was kinda slow. Ordered a big daddy pizza. Pizza was just barely hotter than warm. Would have been better if they baked the pizza longer. The cheese was barely melted and the meat toppings were just lukewarm. Tates has potential I believe, the place always looks packed when I drive past it in the evenings. I’ll give it another shot, maybe they were just off their game on this particular day.
