Pound for pound my favorite sushi restaurant in the Tampa Bay area. Unlike its sister restaurant Soho Sushi (which is fantastic in its own right), you can almost always get a table immediately, and the atmosphere is much tamer and laid back. Most important, though, the sushi is always excellently constructed and extremely fresh. You’ll be hard-pressed to find better in the area.
I used to love this place but not anymore. The sushi chef left plastic, and I mean PLASTIC in our sushi roll. It was in 4 pieces minimum. I guess he forgot to completely unwrap the crab stick but I had been chewing on it thinking it was a tough piece of seaweed. I’m going to start looking for a new sushi spot!
I’ve been going here for years. Love it. So glad they recently changed the decor. Now it feels more like a place I’d want to eat at at night. Good improvement. The food was already amazing and the lunch special is the best deal in town.

So glad I found Yoko’s! Not sure how I missed this place. The quality of the fish is veryyyy good and a lot of unique rolls to try! Not to mention, the service was really great. Chill atmosphere unlike some of the other sushi restaurants in town and not crazy busy to the point of ridiculous where you cannot enjoy it. Definitely try this place out!!
Very tasty. Low key environment, very fresh sushi. It was refreshing to have rolls that were of normal size and could be enjoyed in one bite. Excellent service for a very busy Friday.
Great service & good sushi. We ate here a week ago and had a good experience. The service is great; they took care of us from the minute we walked in. It was fairly busy, but not overwhelmingly so (it was a Saturday evening). But we ordered the Caliente, the Salmon zest, the spicy crunchy tuna roll, & I can’t remember the name of the last one, but it was a cucumber wrapped roll (I wasn’t as much of a fan of this roll). So the last unnamed roll was ok (not bad, but if you like that kind of thing, its fine–I just don’t prefer that style roll). However, the other three were pretty good. Caliente was awesome (best), and salmon zest & spicy crunchy tuna were good. We will be back!
