Having traveled the country and dined at numerous premier spots and classic American diners, I can unequivocally state that Walter’s Coffee Shop ranks up there with the best of them. One of the best kept secrets in Miami !! Where Southern Hospitality meets NYC quality diningTheir Menu has something for everyone!! I simultaneously read through their new menus and visited their site on my phone and was blown away by the rich history of the restaurant and the local community!! I enjoyed a southern style dish comprised of Home Made Grits & Corned beef hash, eggs and a sweet tea. I Came back for lunch the following afternoon and had a scrumptious NY style deli Turkey Club and a delicious Chocolate Milk shake. Hospitable service, great food, and a friendly sociable setting kicked off the start of a great vacation in Miami.
Highly recommend the ice tea – burger & fries I had was out of this world, compared to Jackson Hole in NYC and the Burger Joint in the Park Meridian Hotel. DNYAMITE!!! Dynamite Like the place so much went there for breakfast had a killer healthy BIG omelet. A must visit if you are in Miami and looking to cruise around the outskirts about hour away.
