Good Food!!. Had the soft taco with the rice and re-fried beans. Chimichanga was a real hit too. Especially liked the soft taco and it was I think fresh made when ordered. Fair selection of Mexican drinks. Good stop for lunch.
It’s all made from Cisco ! The worst Mexican food ever !!!El Durango’s across the street blows them away with their authentic, home made food !!!

Awesome!. When I want great Mexican food I make the drive down from St.Petersburg to visit Alvarez.Been eating here for 25+ years and the food is always good.The service has always (for me) been great for lunch, sometimes sketchy at dinner time.Either way a great place to get your Mexican fix! 😉

Not loving it. Sorry, food is not that good and the restaurant is dirty. Try Acapulcos in Lakewood Ranch.
The Alvarez. The food is typically good, but with the exception of a couple of good waitresses the service can be very bad.
