Always great food. Staff is friendly and courteous. Never had a bad meal. The cheesy potatoes are to die for!
I have been here several times for lunch with coworkers. Dry, bagged lettuce and bitter dressing stand out in my mind. Very expensive and poor quality.
Cold biscuit and gravy.The spinach salad with hot bacon dressing was served with ice cold dressing. They did stick it in the microwave so only the middle was cold. Food taste like it came from a can and a bag. Lunch was only 41.00 for two adults and two small children.
If you like outstanding food, Come here. Some of these reviews are just proof that some people just can’t be happy. Norma Rae’s is absolutely the best place to get breakfast or lunch. Servers are wonderful and the managers are the best people I have ever met! The food is terrific! This is a must stop for me every time I am in the area.
2 thumbs up for sure. BEAUTIFUL cozy little spot in the heart of downtown Palmetto. Breakfast is wonderful the servings are way too much for one person but they always cut it in half and fix it the way you like it. For such a small place they are very busy especially on the weekends but it is well worth the wait. The owners are also the cooks and the servers and they are wonderful, warm and friendly. If something is not right they take it back correct it with a smile. Where else can you sit and eat with the Mayor and the Palmetto police and firefighters, business folks and and snowbirds and feel like you are in your own dining room. You must try the cheesy potatoes and the streussel they are incredible!!! Naysayers must have Norma Rae’s and the Nook confused, I challenge you to try them both then come back and write your Norma rae critique…I guarantee you will be full and happy even if you have to wait a little minute for seating.
