I thought I liked Cahalls… Until I tried Trigo Deli downtown on Harrison Avenue. They are much less inconsistent
Whats wrong?. Cahalls is a deli… ok meat – check, buns – check, cheese – check… most of the people here writing reviews are talking about the chicken salad… yes, it does taste good, but the rest is just sandwich meat and bread. I must be crazy for asking who would want to eat food sitting on metal chairs on plain tables with nothing special besides the chicken salad. Its not a place to take a date, this is just plain takeout chicken salad. There are plenty of other deli’s in town that have better finger foods. You have to live in a square house, to enjoy and think this is awesome. Want a sandwich, go there and eat one. Dont act like putting a sliced meat on bread is rocket science.
Chicken Salad. Just picked up some for my mom for lunch, it was the consistency of thick mashed potatoes but thought it might still be good, she eats the stuff, I don’t so I asked how it was since she loves chicken salad, she wasn’t impressed for the 9 bucks a pound that we got it for. She said she much rather have Chick-fil-a’s chicken salad, that it was much better to her.

Try the chicken salad!. I hear that only a couple of people actually know exactly what goes into the chicken salad and that they make their employees sign an agreement that they wont divulge any of the recipe. Yes, it is that good.
BEST in PC!. I love everything I have eaten at Cahalls! Simply delicious! Chicken Salad is hands down best in PC!
By far the best Deli experience I have had south of Pittsburg! The chicken salad is creamy goodness.
