Always an awesome experience here. The food is always amazing and the service is fast. It really makes you feel like you’re at home. Great for when you’re drunk
2301 location. Ate at the Bayou George Corams tonight. The food was about as average as waffle house. The conditions of this location were horrible. The floors were nasty, the tables were sticky, the floor behind the counter where the food is cooked was disgusting. Of the 5 or 6 people working behind the counter, no one bothers to clean up the food or trash on the floor. The grill and food prep area was equally nasty. The main cook looked like a tattooed homeless man who looked like he needed a bath and a shave. All the food was being handled bare-handed by this guy. Our waitress was less than attentive and acted like she didn’t want to even be there. I was somehow able to get a lone refill on my drink but my wife wasn’t as lucky. For two people, the meal was $25 and change. That was for a chicken sandwich, a club sandwich, an order of hashbrowns and two drinks. It was probably the cheese I had added to my sandwich and hashbrowns that ran the bill so high. Then, we received our check. Apparently the waitress was either too lazy to add everything up, or it is the customer’s responsibility to figure the total. Either way, the check did not have the total on it. I have ate at several other Corams restaurants in the area and all have been a nice decent place to eat. But…..the one in Bayou George was hands down, the most disgusting place I have ever ate at and that’s saying a lot. If it was ever inspected and the inspector saw what we saw, it would be shuttered like Short Stacks right down the road from them. I will never eat at this location again. Do not waste your time or your money. If I could give this a negative five stars I would.
Delish!! The food was great and one of the prettiest fluffy omelets ever. Great service. We will definitely be back!
I love their Heavenly Hash, very good hash browns (could be cooked a tad better) with tomatoes (i take off), onions (chopped), jalapenos, ham (I take off) and cheese (could use more) I do believe that is it (correct me if I’m wrong). This is the only thing I have ordered from Coram’s and I still enjoy it from time to time.
