We randomly found Chez Amavida while touring historic St. Andrews. What a great find! I had the Maghreb mint tea, my partner had a Sumatra coffee, and we both shared a chocolate torte. We both came away wishing for a place like this in Atlanta. The atmosphere is so relaxing and enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend this place to any of my friends or family.
Great Place! Off the beaten path but worth the drive!
I needed some good whole bean coffee to get us through our stay in PCB. I found this little gem of a coffee shop. The coffee I bought was wonderful and it had the roasting date right on the package and was barely a week old!I decided to go ahead and have an Americano while I was there. It was perfect. The barista was extremely nice and knew what she was doing.I recommend this coffe house to anyone who might be in the area.Oh and the neighborhood is gorgeous!
Super coffee, great food, very friendly staff, reasonably priced, combine all this with a killer European style menu (love those breakfast croissants) and that is Amavida. C’est bon mes amis!!!!
Amavida is privately owned!. In respone to Becca’s post, Amavida is a small, privately owned business, but they do big things. They started in Santa Rosa Beach and now have three shops open. They also roast their coffee in Panama City Beach. They have been able to expand, because of customers like me remaining loyal to them… as I have for a long, long time. I would read up on Amavida’s beliefs and practices. They directly import Fair Trade coffees that support and sustain farming communities all around the world. I think that’s something everyone in St. Andrews should want to support. Plus, the coffee can’t be beat.
Love it! Light menu and appealing for healthy eaters as well! A great place to take my lunch break. Glad to see this production in our area.
Great food and atmosphere. Great organic and fair trade coffees and teas that are roasted locally (in Santa Rosa Beach). The food is superb. I’m obsessed with the Roasted Red Pepper Spread and fresh breads. A great place to have in St. Andrews.
