Local Diner. We frequent G. Foley’s often and find it great! The food is always fresh, and flavorful, the wait staff is incredibly attentive, and the cocktails are cold and fabulous. For fine dining you can’t beat the price! We love it and are so happy that G. Foley’s is here!

Great food, service, and atmosphere. Visited on a Thursday; wine by the bottle was half price and we enjoyed a lovely Malbec. Our appetizer was a fresh creation of heirloom tomatoes, herbs, and crispy bits of okra and more. Each of our salads was well composed and balanced (mine with a fresh raspberry coulis and feta). Entree was Chicken Foley, utterly delicious. The owner was walking around, checking on everyone…a delightful experience.

Great experience! From the food presentation, to the decor and to the service, it was evident that the careful attention to detail was a top priority. Unfortunately, the flavoring of the food was rather uninspired and bland. It was very busy on this day, and for that I believe another chance is fair.

Great food, great staff!. WOW. All I can say. My wife and I enjoyed the 2 can dine for $40 special. What a wonderful meal. We chose the spinach dip with fried bowtie pasta as the starter, The pasta was crispy yet still moist, for the next course, I chose the wedge salad while my wife took the baked potato soap. Both we simple and delicious. The bread is fresh made and had butter pairings. Rye with honey balsamic, rosemary garlic bread with a sea salt butter. a sour dough was paired with a simple garlic. For dinner we enjoyed the thick cut steak, and I had the chicken Foley. the steak was perfect med, the chicken was topped with fresh spinach bacon and cheese and sat atop nicely roasted rosemary potatoes. The service was great, friendly and efficient without being pushy as to rush us. The owner stopped by to make sure all was well. We will definitely go back.

To Zoo. My name is Ashley and I was the Manager working last Sunday when you came to G. Foleys. I am sorry you and your friends did not enjoy your experience. We are working hard everyday to get better and our proud of the food we serve. As you can see by the numerous complimentary reviews we are getting there but sometimes we fall short so please accept my apologies. Our goal is to make sure every customer leaves happy so if there is anything we can do at your table to make it right we will. Add bacon to a filet, no problem. Replace your baked potato, our pleasure. Not please with the soup, will get you something else. But most important we should get it right the first time, and we didn’t. Next time you are in town from Pensacola I would like to invite you in on us so we can make it right. Please allow us that opportunity. Thank you Ashley. Call at 850-481-0354 and we will set this up as with you other friends.

$22.00 Fried Chicken!!. My first glance at the menu i spotted the $22 fried chicken, and hence forth the rest of the dining experience was a joke (but not the bill) concerning $22 fried chicken. Oh and it apparently was only a fried chicken breast with veggies. Visiting from Pensacola (sorry, our restaurants blow anything away in this town), my relocated friend (see Faye review) I suppose wanted to impress us with some Panama City FINE DINING!! Well, we weren’t impressed!! Very pricey, not so good food! The atmosphere was very nice and I guess the prices are for the ambiance, not the fine cuisine! Now to the food. Lobster bisque was a little more fishy than I have ever had before, my wife didn’t eat 1/4 of it and our host took hers home to her cats (hey cats love fish right?!). My entree was Filet (and I was charged for the larger filet than I ordered $29!). Now I figured, you can’t go wrong with filet (unless it’s over cooked), but this meat was super salty and seared dry on the outside. No bacon wrap, no butter melted on top. The meat was very tender, but hey it’s filet! Baked potato – cold. So between four of us we shelled out about $150. For that kind of money, I expect to walk out of the restaurant in utter ecstasy. We walked out joking about the $22 fried chicken.BTW, if you want to try the best fried chicken ever, come to Pensacola and order the $9 fried chicken dinner at Five Sisters Blues Cafe!!!
