NASTY!. We tried to eat there several mo. ago… It was not good.The place was dirty and when a person took out one of the trays from the warmer the grease and dirt under and around the tray was gross!!!!! Hubby ate I on the other had tried to eat the chicken but even that was awful….hubby didn’t eat much eather .They say the stoffer truck doesn’t stop here well IT SHOULD food would be better ….. Why doesn’t the inspecters close them or at least make them clean up……WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN !!!!
Raised the Prices. AUCE buffet is now $10.25 a person. One trip to buffet is $8.25 and blue plate is $6.25. Too much in my opinion. Higher than Golden Corral. Food is just ok.
Really good fried chicken. Everything else is processed or canned food. Expensive to eat there. Loud dining room. Not the cleanest place.
How can breakfast be so difficult to get right…. This place has terrible grits. They are flavorless. Folks, it’s very simple, you must season the water when you cook grits. I think they teach that in Southern 101. My biggest pet peeve: No butter available. How much do you save by not having some butter available for those who request it?How good can the rest of the food be if they can’t do something as simple as grits?
Never Going Back. I have tried this place more than once, I thought that maybe the next couple times the food would change in taste but it never did, it was always bland, no seasoning etc, the only thing I kinda liked was the cornbread rounds and they were extremely greasy. My 8 year old niece could do a better job at cooking than this place does.
Granny Hell. Me and my wife went for lunch today, there is not an overly large buffet the chicken was good but not much else the salad bar is so, so.Vegetables are straight from a can or at least thats what they taste like, we liked the deserts, but on whole we would not recommend this place to anyone and we will never be back. The service is very friendly and polite.My wife got home later after we made some stops for shopping and something she ate upset her stomach and it could not have been from anything else as she had for breakfast cereal… Visit at your own peril. The tv ad with all the granny’s well to many cooks spoil…
