So I had business in Panama City for about 10 days, I was glad to see that there were so many options for different and possibly interesting foods! The Uber guy seems to know a lot about his town. I like oysters and he said Hunts is a must! I have to say I did not like the wait.. AND, It’s oysters people, the only difference is the quality of the oyster. Every restaurant that serves oysters can prepare your oysters the way you like them. After a one an a half hour wait I was rushed in (sat at the bar). Ordered a beer and oysters. Texas oysters at best! Not Apalachicola as billed. They must know people can tell the difference. The guy behind the bar made me feel like I was in a hurry! I thought this was a local kind of place, turns out it was not. Not happy about sitting outside for so long, whats up with the jewelry guy LOL and not happy with the oysters. I went to a place nearby, Uncle Ernie’s for a real cold beer afterwards.
