Dont tip! The servers do not get their tips, it goes directly into the managers pocket. They also advertise that they do not use MSG which is a lie. I have a condition where i cannot have MSG, ate there and got severly sick.
Worst Chinese we have ever had!. We were told good things about JinJin 88 and so we gave it a try tonight and were horribly disappointed. I ordered the sweet&sour chicken and it was the worst I ever had. It was nothing but a bunch of fried chicken. No pineapple, no sauce…nothing. So I called them back to see if they had just forgotten to put it in the bag(we did Take out). They ended up delivering a little container of sweet&sour sauce that didn’t taste like anything. The egg drop soup was so bad we ended up throwing it out. It was literally slimy and tasted terrible. So that describes our first and definitely last experience with JinJin88.
Best chinese restaurant in Panama City FL. I go for the pork egg foo young. Only place around that uses flour instead of cornstarch for the brown gravy. The pork fried rice is very tasty without that orange-brown color. My very picky (chinese restaurant) husband liked his mongolian beef lunch special and even asked the next week when were we going back to Jin Jin 88 II. This from a man who I always had to beg to go with me! It’s a real restaurant instead of a take-out place and has rather dark lighting. Nice place to take a date.
No roll in lunch order. Ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken Lunch combo to go. Didn’t see menu, but I guess there is no roll included with the lunch special. Seems odd as other places include it with lunch so I will probably not go there again. Also the rice really doesnt look like fried rice to me. It looks like white rice with bits of egg and peas thrown in, it doesnt have that yellow tint.
Five Stars. We really liked this restaurant. The place was very clean, the decor is contemporary Asian, not the typical gold and red, the wait staff was fantastic and the food absolutely wonderful. I live in Orlando and was visiting my dad so we decided to try Jin Jin and are very happy we did. To all the locals, Please, please, by- pass those horrible super buffets and support your local neighbors-you will be glad you did. We will definitely go back next time we visit PC.
Superb Chinese Cuisine!. Jin Jin 88 #2 is a great place to dine. A friend referred me to there saying how great their general tso’s chicken was and despite a lengthy drive from Destin, I was not disappointed. The place looks very new and each table was spotless. The food was meticulously prepared with a colorful garnishment that looked like a piece of art. They truly showed their pride in the food they served. We got the General Tso’s, Pupu Platter, and the House Special Chow mein. All were very good. Definitely a return trip.
