This is an amazing place to eat. The venue is different from anything you could expect – except in Florida! A food boat with one of the greatest, gourmet menus. This is real food, not fast food and everything is cooked after ordering. The prices are affordable and you will not leave hungry. Add this spot to you must eat places when in Panama City, Florida.
My husband and I went here for dinner for date night. . . what a way to ruin a date. I could’ve done that myself by attempting to cook, but instead the restaurant did it for me. Awful. Terrible service. I will not be returning.
Great concept with the floating restaurant. Food was excellent and beer comes free with your meal. Great neighborhood and dining view. CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!!

The Real Deal. Chef/Owner/Marine/Awesome Person Ernie keeps this place authentic because he’s the real deal. Order to-go or eat at one of the outside umbrella tables. Just The Cook is not just on the water but IN the water. Walk a small plank over the water to order from his floating kitchen. He makes all the food fresh from scratch like the true chef he is. Order anything! It’s all good. Don’t forget to grab an ice cold free beer as you head back to your table after ordering.
