Original! Wonderful food with a great view. The owner spoke with us twice just making sure we were ok. I had the boiled crab dinner which was pulled directly from the water in front of the boat! Quite the show getting the crab in a bowl for the kitchen. My husband had a Shrimp Tortuga. He really liked the fresh avocado with the spicy shrimp. (yes, and there was free beer)! There was a wait but we were fine with that. We heard the food was worth it. Our visit was on a Thursday, we found out by speaking with the girl on the front of the boat that the cook serves lunch to a local school every Thursday! who are these people! They had plenty of customers and they were cooking for a school, what a great feeling to know people like this still exist. At this point the wait meant nothing to us. A nice guy in the kitchen sent us out some of the chicken that they serve to the school, it was great! The whole staff was just so friendly. We reviewed the restaurant from our picnic table and received a coupon. I really like that as I am a coupon clipper! We will be back! Time and again.
