Dined with enthusiastic group of friends, we all love a good Pho restaurant. This is not the place. We were greeted by a friendly young woman. Our table had not been washed off. We moved twice finding every table dirty. Okay, maybe they had had a rush of business and had not had time to clean. Each of us ordered a variety of Pho with springs rolls & egg rolls. First up soggy old vegetables, no basil the only fresh item giant sliced Jalapeno. It was down hill from there. The spring rolls were warm, the shrimp pungent and old tasting served with a runny sort of peanut sauce. Itook one bite andleft the rest. The server took it away with out comment. The egg rolls were fried and tasted fine.The Phofor all of us was off tasting.I had chicken and could not eat it.Again, taken away with no comment from the server. The special Pho was received well by 2 of my companions and the egg rolls. The rest was not edible. We won’t be back.

We went for lunch yesterday. I ordered the lunch special for $9.95 – two eggrolls, a small bowl of pho (I ordered the eye of round), and a soft drink; my son ordered a large pho with brisket. When the pho came to the table, the bowls were super-hot (a good thing), and I could smell the star anise in the broth (another good thing). The fresh accompaniments were cilantro, bean sprouts, sliced jalapenos, and lime wedges – while this is a fairly limited choice (I would have liked some mint and Thai basil, and maybe sliced green banana), it was a generous portion for two bowls. The broth was a little light on the star anise and cinnamon, but still tasted good, and the rice noodles were cooked just right. The store front is small, but inside the tables are spaced well, so no one feels crowded, and everything looked clean and bright. Service was also good. We definitely plan to go back.
