Stopped in while walking the old downtown strip. Food is definitely not from a box which is a huge plus these days. Food was good, open dining area so you aren’t cramed against strangers while you eat. Would definitely recommend and return.
Wasted my money. Onion rings left an after taste and the chicken nachos at $12.00 had all chips, little cheese, lots of lettuce and very little chicken. Was very dry. When brought to the quarter’sattention she told me that they are doing it differently and it has no cheese sauce on it now. People were turning their phones on in order to see their menus it was so dark. When we were seated we were told that they were out of most of the ales, mostly dark ones, and they were out of prime rib. Apparently Friday Fest cleaned them out of all this. Funny, because at the height of dinner hour,there was only 14 people in the whole restaurant.

In the beginning, there was chaos (not unusual for a new restaurant – or any business for that matter). NOW however, even when they are slammed with people (concert nights, First Friday, etc.) these folks work hard to take care of their customers. The food is above the norm good and worth the wait. Support the Panama Ale House – it’s a great place!
