Me and my Girlfriend visited this local restaurant for the fourth of July. The atmosphere is very southern family, meaning it makes you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in. We ordered the hush puppies as an appetizer and it was delicious. Our server Jamie was very nice and got us everything we needed. The manager Mrs Lee even came by and made sure we were taken care of. The food was overall delicious and at a great price. Will definitely recommend and come back to eat.

Yes and No!. Overall, Po Folks has good food. Once in a while however, you get some fried chicken that’s been over-fried or tastes likes it’s been re-dropped into the cooking oil for a few minutes to make it seem fresh! (BTW, it doesn’t fool us)!Po Folks prices keep creeping up, but their restaurant seems to be becoming more and more run-down which is a shame. Despite these drawbacks, we go to Po Folks fairly often because the food is good most of the time and if you aren’t satisfied, you can send it back if you need to!
Yummy Comfort Food!. Po Folks was delicious! The friend chicken was juicy, chicken n dumplins were savory, mac n cheese was cheesy and creamy, fresh corn on the cob, and yummy hushpuppies. The only thing we didn’t like was the cole slaw – it had a weird vinegar taste to it, but there’s plenty more sides to choose from next time! We also had the Mississippi mud pie, which was very good. We’ll definitely go back! This place reminds me of Cracker Barrel which I also like!
The food was good, but the desserts were amazing!
