Favorite Restaurant in PC. This is a locals haunt. Go in during lunch and you’ll see all the movers and shakers in Panama. Atmosphere is a solid 10. Nice big booths, large ice tea glasses, service is so fast during lunch that you’d think you were at a fast food restaurant. They really move quickly to get you in and out. I think that’s why so many businessmen like to go there for lunch. My wife like the shorty’s lunch portion turkey sandwich and I like everything I’ve tried. I like the freedom fries and the baked beans are outstanding. Wife like the fried okra. Service has always been friendly and attentive. If you didn’t get it that way, it was a fluke I assure you. Most times the manager walks around and visits each table to check on you and chat. VERY nice touch and appreciated. Makes you feel like you belong and want to come back. Atmosphere is the main reason we go there. Don’t know why, but it has a homey feel to it. I’m always up for a trip to Smitty’s.
PC Beach Satisfied!. First time back in 29 years and found salad bar to still be well stocked but lettuce needed shredding smaller, BBQ pork sandwich very tasty and not greasy, and service to be very good for a busy place. Locals eat here. Waitress was patient and manager attentive. Nice experience. Fun!Thumbs up!
Food was ok not great but we would not return due to poor wait staff. We sat for a hr without even being looked at
Meat was good but sauce wasn’t great. Small proportions compared to price. It was ok but not a lot to brag about.
Good Stuff! Beat BBQ in town. So far… :). Interesting decor. Almost a aviation museum Very kool.
Hands down some of the best BBQ I have ever had. I try to hit all the BBQ spots wherever I travel. Bottomless rib plate, great smoked flavor, fried corn on the cob… Need I say more? Plus a bonus for military and vets there a discount just for you… I highly recommend this to anyone who loves BBQ! Enjoy!
Love the sweet potatoes. The barbecue upset my stomach since it seemed to be a little over smoked but it sure tasted good going down so don’t stay way on my account. Great service and down home atmosphere. Huge plus in my book,
