  I love the fried pickles! I also got the pulled pork sandwich with garlic toast and it wasn’t bad, the sauces made it better. In all honesty, I like Sonny’s pulled pork and sauces better. When I go back, I would definitely get the fried pickles again and try something different on the menu.

  Horrible Customer Service. Poor customer service. They charged us for our meal and someone else’s meal which totaled $110.00. My husband called to address it while we were driving back because we assumed they could simply give us cash. They had customers attempt to approach my husband (however the lady up front did advise them that she has it handled). Then says she is going to call the police. My husband went ahead and called them because he felt threatened. She also took a picture of him with her phone. The police showed up and no report was filed because it was deemed a miscommunication (meanwhile we still have and additional $70 charged to our card). We arrive home only to realize that the printed out paper that the Smitty’s employee provided to us has about 6 other guests complete credit card information (cc # and expiration date). I do not trust them at all. I have no idea if our credit card information has been provided to anyone else and now have to cancel it because of the violation of privacy. We will never go back there and we have also made sure that everyone we know on social media (over 2000 people or so together) is aware of this fraudulent restaurant.

  Service was good – once we were noticed. Wife and I were standing around up front for a long, awkward minute before we were seen and seated. Fried pickles were good, house sauce that came with it was really good. Wife ordered a pulled pork sandwich with slaw and fried corn on the cob. She enjoyed it, especially with the white barbecue sauce mixed with the sweet sauce. I ordered ten hot wings and my first batch wasn’t cooked all the way. First bite, the inside of the wing was red and a little bloody. The second batch took longer, came out piping hot, but the second wing I bit into was pink and the third wing was nearly red. The server was surprised and as disappointed as I was, but my wife and I knew it wasn’t her fault. I’m torn because I can see this place has potential, but I kinda got dealt a bad hand.
