My daughter and I have been going to Sugar Boogers since they opened. The cupcakes are huge and worth the price! Stephanie, the owner, loves what she does and you can see it in the cupcakes she bakes each day. I’ve used Stephanie to make every birthday cake for my family since my daughter was 3. She is very creative and takes pride in her work.
Wonderful Cupcakes. My children and I love going here for an afternoon treat! Their selection is great, and they taste even better! The customer service is great and will answer any questions. Some people on here say they are expensive, but you are paying for great quality. I don’t think its too expensive, its what you pay these days for a good cupcake! You will not be disappointed!
The negative reviews are true. Well I was antiquing and decided to stop in at this store across the street to try the cupcakes since I had been craving cupcakes for a while. I was, unfortunately, very disappointed. I got the two most popular flavors-seashell and death by chocolate. The cake part was crusty with some moist areas while the frosting was sweet in a weird syrupy way. I felt kind of sick after eating the seashell and vowed to never eat cupcakes again. Then I felt better and decided to try the chocolate cupcake, whose icing tasted like chocolate syrup. they were expensive around 4+ bucks a piece so I cant find it in myself to throw them away, so I will try to eat some more. I would not recommend this place 🙁
Pricey cup cakes. $7.95 for 2 cups cakes I think warrants more than one $ indicating how expensive this place is. The cup cakes were OK, not great, just OK. The butter cream frosting was not really creamy, you could still feel the texture of the sugar. I was a bit disappointed that all the cup cakes seemed to have the same white whipped cream on the inside. Everything had butter cream frosting, even the Red Velvet and Carrot Cake. I guess I was expecting a bit more creativity. The cup cake place that used to be in that location was better. Didn’t even finish the death by choc cupcake, the chocolate frosting needed a more concentrated flavor and the chocolate coating under the frosting tasted like Hershey’s Syrup? And they have no bathroom!
Disappointed, but good.. The cupcakes were good. Only had an issue receiving my change since we were in such deep conversation about my mother making cakes. I called the owner twice and she got my address after checking the drawer for that day and it being ‘a few dollars over’, but two months later I still don’t have my change. Seven dollars isn’t that big of a deal, but to me that is gas money for work and back. Just a little disappointed since the owner seems so nice and said she was honest.
Great Experience in Panama City. Delicious & yummy ! Perfect mixture, texture, garnishing & presentation. Not too sweet. One of my clients brought some for my office. I plannedto have a bite to be polite & it was all gone before you knew it.I heard their Death By Chocolate was incredible, almost as good as Arnold High School’sculinary program contribution. Keep up the good work.
Really?. Not impressed, a friend brought these in to work today. Who can eat something that size and half of it was frosting? Is that even real chocolate? I know that some people like this type of sweet but really? Please please use real ingredients next time, these taste downright synthetic!
