Okay cupcakes. We received what was left from a birthday party, beach themed cupcakes (like the picture I uploaded) the first impression was they we’re beautiful but the taste was lacking, not a lot of flavor, seemed very one note and the frosting was grainy. I will stick to going to my regular cupcake pit stop.
The Epic Wedding Cake!. I called several places to ask about making my daughter’s wedding cake. I found most places in our area to be rather unaccommodating with scheduling appointments. When I called Sugar Boogers, Stephanie made time for us without hesitation that fit our schedule. We purchased the tasting box, of which the price gets deducted from the cake. It was several different flavors of cupcakes each with a different filling, then several different icings to try so you could mix and match to find the one you like best. No words. It was beyond delicious.We told her my daughter’s ideas and kind of roughed up a sketch. A few weeks before the wedding, my daughter and I brought in the finished sketches she did to give to Stephanie. Both daughters came because we needed an excuse to get another cupcake. LOL.The finished cake looked EXACTLY like her drawings and tasted amazing! I have never seen so many people eat so much cake at a wedding before. We will continue to use Stephanie’s wonderful bakery for our special cakes and always find time to pop in for a Seaside cupcake.
