As my daddy once told me; who owned a fleet of shrimp boats and a successful seafood resturant on the coast in Brunswick, Georgia…it only takes one bad experience, one careless server, one forgotten request, one distracted employee to screw up a great resturant experience. Been coming here for a couple of months now, enjoyed every visit. Never again. My crawfish ettoffee was luke warm, and made yesterday. My dinner guest did not get his food until 15 minutes after I was served, and she sat stale crackers next to his oyster sampler. My dinner guest asked for a desert menu, never got it. Irritating at the least. The server was nice enough, but in between waiting on very few people she just spent her time chatting with other staff. What a shame. Over 2000 people will read my review in Northwest Fl. Never, ever serve less than the best. Very sad.
I must admit I’ve driven past this place for years just assuming it was a bar that served nasty bar food. Never even bothered to look it up and read the reviews. A friend told me about it today and my husband read up on it. We decided to give it a go today, and omg let me just brag away!!! Awesome place! Gumbo is delicious. The fish poboy is good too. We will be going back tomorrow for the chicken and pasta and more gumbo! Wonderful service and atmosphere. This will be our go-to from now on!!! This place is a true local gem!!!
