The food was really great. We went to the early dining hours. She crab soup was some of the best ever. I wanted to eat every drop. Great butter lettuce salad with goat cheese and strawberries. Really delicious crab cakes. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars was that the service was sooooooo slow. On a Tuesday at 6 pm. They kept apologizing but we were there almost 2 hours. I wanted to try the dessert but couldn’t sit there any longer. The food a 10 the service a 5
Everything was brilliant. We got baked puff pastry brie appetizer and she crab soup, the brie was super buttery and the soup was probably one of the best soups I’ve ever had. Both entrees were amazing, I have the stuffed filet mignon and my fianc had the rack of lamb. My steak was nicely cooked and everything worked great together, nothing was to over powdering or over seasoned! The lamb was melt in your mouth good! Then for dessert was the dark chocoate lava cake. Everything taste better then we ever expected. Our waiter was super helpful and friendly!
As much as I didn’t want to go I was talked into going to Firefly once again last night. I’ve been there many times before although it’s been well over a year since I went the last time. I’ve always felt the Firefly was a three-star restaurant impersonating a five star restaurant. They did nothing to change my mind last night. From the time we sat down until the time we left everything was average or less. We had a party of 8 and every single person commented that their food was extremely salty. Because I never like to spend money on below-average food I ordered from the early bird special along with my date. I had the Cajun pasta she had the salmon. Both were very salty. My pasta was overcooked and I made a comment to the waiter that I could have had better pasta at Olive Garden for a lot less money. I will never understand why this place is always so crowded because the food is terrible the original Chef is no longer there and things have not changed for the better f the last several years. I hope that I never get talked into going there again and would hope the people who read this that agree with me would say something so they may change their menu or at least change their shape once more and start all over and try to become what they want to be a five star restaurant. Even the bread was below average. I hope I never have to go there again
We loved it—food, atmosphere, and service! The she crab soup is excellent, and everything is done with just the right bit of flair. Our meal was perfectly timed–nice breaks between courses, never rushed. This place runs on precision and seamless teamwork, and it pays off with guest experiences like ours. We will be back!
If your looking for a nice sit down upscale place while on vacation, this is it. The attire was all over the place, which is nice to see from a fine dining establishment. Roll tide roll was great. She crab soup was amazing. Wifes salad was huge. Wife had oven roasted grouper, (house staple)great. I had chefs special, pan seared snapper with crab cake n corn mango relish, awesome. Would definitely recommend.
Fantastic dining experience!! Everything we had was unbelievable. Grouper dinner and stuffed filet were our choices and highly recommend both. Not your typical tourist beach trap.
Hands down the best restaurant in PCB. The soft shell crab and fried green tomato appetizer may be the best thing I’ve ever eater. Staff was great, menu had something for everyone, and the meal was delicious.
