  Having read many good reviews about this place, my family and I decided to have breakfast there before leaving PCB. My daughter had a French Toast platter with a side of fresh fruit, my wife had an egg biscuit with a side of fresh fruit and I had biscuits with gravy and sausage. The French toast consisted of 8 slices of toast arranged around two tubs of syrup and generously sprinkled with powdered sugar ($7.99). My biscuits and gravy were topped with chopped sausage, which was very tasty as has been described by other patrons ($5.00). All foods were very pleasantly arranged and presented. Most of all, they were prepared to order, fresh and hot.There were three large parties ahead of us and the small place was very much packed, so we did accept a waiting time of 45 minutes, considering that only 3 people were working there and only Sarah, I presume the owner, was cooking. Prices are a bit higher than the menu above indicates, but not by much. With everything including drinks and fruits, we spent about $25. This will be a place to come back to.

  It’s… okay… They’re definitely doing some simple home cooking back there in the kitchen. Good for a plain or basic meal. But the price is a little steep considering I only got breakfast. Gravy was Bland!

  My child was served raw chicken, not too happy. My 3 Kids And I Ate Lunch there.All The Kids Got Chicken Fingers And Fries. I Got The Chicken Salad sandwich Which Pretty Good. However, One Of The Kids Chicken Fingers Was Clearly No Cooked All The Way. I Did Not Get A Chance To Check My Other Kids Chicken, They Already Ate Most Of It. I Am Now Praying My Kids Do Not Get Sick. ****Note To Self: From now On, Always Check Our Kids Food Before They Eat It. WE Were The Only Ones In The Restaurant.

  Like Grandma used to make!. Seriously. I eat here and get the same thing every time. A bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. Their breakfast is great and the lunch items are fine too. The service is what it is…only 2-3 people work there including the owner-cook. If you want a coffee, get a coffee. If you want a soda, go get a soda from the fridge. It’s down home…..make yourself at home. If you want your butt kissed and to be waited on hand n foot then go somewhere else. If you want a solid meal for a great price, then enjoy. I’m a local and didn’t know about this place until I worked on a television show and one of the guys that came in town to work took me. Schooled in my own ‘hood by a dude from France. Wow.

  What a Great Little Place. Took my family in this morning for Breakfast. Small little place, not too fancy but when the waiter sat our breakfast down we knew we had found our home away from home. The eggs were perfect and the grits reminded me of those from the old days when my grandmother would cook them for me. I ordered bacon but my wife ordered the sausage. I talked her into a bite and must say it was the best sausage I’ve ever tasted. I finished my bacon, and it was great, and ordered another side of sausage. Friendly service and absolutely amazing food. We will have breakfast there every morning and then will look forward to coming back to the beach so we can eat there again and again. Thank You Pickle Patch!!!
