We’re picky locals and we loved it!. There are a lot of crowded, over-priced tourist traps on the beach so we were a bit leery of trying the top-rated ice cream shop my boss raved about. But we gave Pink Pelican a shot last night and loved it! The shop is charming, the staff is friendly and helpful, the selection was ample, and so will our waistlines be after enjoying the large scoops of heavenly ice cream! This is definitely one of the few dessert destinations worth fighting spring break, bike week, or any other crowds for! Now about that gym membership…
Also the reputation of homemade icecream is a lie they serve bluebell, ice cream club and hersheys also the fact is i worked for them today was my last day yes they did terminate me and i even asked the new owner if she really had the heart to put me my fiance and 5 month old child on the street she said she didnt care and hand the store keys over and leave she een had the cops escort me off the edgewater property. I dont care if she sues me over this cause losing my home is far worse then a lawsuit05 Aug, 2014New owners of pink pelican has real bad work ethics. Going from demoting a manager to not allowing employees to give out free scoops of icecream to a 2yr old. Also firing employees infront of customers. Pink pelican is suppose to be family oriented. Ive been at pink pelican when Rick was the previous owner. Rick had made it a tradition to be giving out free kids size scoops for the toddlers that come in. And as i repeat pink pelican new owners has really bad ownership work ethics.
Yummy!. We are currently on vacation in PCB and have eaten at Pink Pelican twice so far and will again before we leave! Great service, fantastic ice cream, and amazing waffle bowls! Everyone in our group of 7 loves it!
Some delicious, creamy, ice cream!. This place was delicious! The ice cream is so creamy, and all the flavors taste authentic. My husband had the cookie monster, which looks crazy because of the bright blue, but it is really good! It’s creamy, vanilla flavored ice cream with chunks of cookie dough and cookies! I had the chocolate brownie…delicious chocolate ice cream with real brownie pieces! My daughter had the mint chocolate chip, and it tasted like real mint..not the fake, imitation kind! My son had the superman, which was a colorful vanilla…but the flavor was delicious, even I liked it! Planning to go again before we leave and then whenever we return to Panama City Beach!

The best ice cream I’ve ever had! It was creamy and the selection of ice cream was amazing! I know why it’s the second best ice cream joint the US!
