Wow. Totally blown away. Staff and food were great. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel like locals rather than tourists who would be gone after a few days. Shrimp Pompano and grouper were outstanding. Smoked Gouda cheese grits were a refreshing change from cheddar. Thanks to all, especially Jessie, for a great couple of nights. Will definitely be back!
This is the one restaurant we have to visit on every vacation. The whole family loves it. The coconut shrimp is the best I’ve ever had. Add a frozen drink, feed the turtles on the way out.
Our service was poor from the time we walked in the door, from the waiter complaining at the door to the hostess before we were sat down. The wait for our drinks was unreal. The food wait was unreal. We had bread and waited for our salads to arrive, which never did. When the waitertold us he will return with the salads, a few mins, later he came back by and asked us if we enjoyed the salads. Really…what salads! When our food finally arrived, an hour later, with our saladswe were disappointed by the food. The steak which I wanted well done had blood dripping off and my husbands chicken was dry with burnt potatoes. My son’s corndog wasn’t done all the way. So one out of four meals was ok. First…chef doesn’t do substitutions , so our meal was planned for us with our sides. Then the side salads, was the worst I have ever tasted, because we couldn’t choose what we wanted as sides or dressing. Worst visit ever and refuse to return. Even with the bad all around, we still tipped the waiter.
