the location of the resto is great. Can dine with their special cocktails with the beachside view. Have been here with a bunch of friends for spring break and all of them loved the seafood and the sides were surprisingly great.
We are in town in the very beginning of the busy season. The restaurant was barely busy so the food should have been on point. The smoked tuna dip was fairly bland. It was served with tortilla chips. I feel as though it would’ve a way better with a warm pita chip or at least some salsa with it. Also, I got the blackened fish tacos. They were OK. I just feel as though some chefs just understand fish tacos and some don’t. This restaurant did a standard blackened fish with sweet slaw and a spicy possible homemade salsa on a cold flour tortilla. The flavors lacked balance. I was hoping for more. Overall, the meal was lacking and the price was high. Find somewhere that’s not a tourist trap.

Love this place. It was my favorite local beach club when I lived there 93-95 and it’s my go-to place when I make a yearly visit. AND, I recently received excellent customer service from Molly and Jennifer in getting me a bright orange Schooners shirt to replace one my brother had worn down to rag status. It was the second one he had worn to pieces, but I hit a snag when they didn’t have any in stock and weren’t looking to stock that particular color any longer. Well, Molly worked with managers/Jennifer and got another order placed and then went out of her way to get that in the mail to me here in Northern Virginia. My brother was thrilled as was I. Again, Molly really went the extra mile to keep me updated with the progress and not even charging me to mail it to my house can’t be beat!! Plus, their food rocks, the view is great and it really is an awesome place to hang out!! If you’re thinking about visiting the place, stop thinking and just do it! You won’t be sorry!!
One of the best places to eat ON the beach. We come every time we’re in town. Hub’s said the wings are the best on the beach. Great atmosphere and view.
Very overpriced for the quality of food. I had the calamari and fried oysters. Couldn’t have told they were oysters. Nothing special here. Live band wasn’t bad.
The food is way overpriced considering nothing is fresh. Basically everything they have is frozen and fried. The atmosphere is the only good thing they have going. I’ve never had a positive experience with the service staff.
