Way over priced! Much better options near by. I had the veg stir fry and it was litterally a plate of cabbage and brocalli and a side of rice. I had a spicy tuna roll with it that was okay for a $6 roll. My husband had the chicken and that was boring and $15. So save your money go somewhere more delicious.
Best sushi in Tampa bay.
Best Sushi Around. This place really can’t be beat in the Wesley Chapel/New Tampa area when it comes to sushi. I’ve been there multiple times and have never had any complaints. I’ve even ordered pick up on a few occasions, and sushi is not something I really like to get to go. Ciccio’s Lodge had my favorite sushi in the area, but since being closed Bonsai is definitely my favorite now. Very good, would recommend to ALL sushi lovers!
Best sushi ever!. We have been going here about once a month for 4 years now and it is excellent every time. We would go more often if we could afford it. The sushi here is always fresh, restaurant is always clean, and the staff are always friendly. Definitely recommend starting with the fried calamari and as for the sushi- rainbow roll, Waikiki roll, tuna fantasy, and if you like fried rolls the crispy and the tempura bagel are delicious. We have tried a few other places in the tampa area and many others throughout the country and this place is the best!! We are going to miss it when we move.
Great Sushi!. This place is one of my favorites. I am so sad that I am moving out of the Tampa area because I am going to miss this place so much. Incredible sushi, the best in the Tampa area. I even took my grandfather here who has ate sushi all over the United States, and he said that it was the best sushi he’s ever had. I recommend the crab rangoons, sexy man rolls, caterpillar roll, super crunch roll, and volcano roll. It doesn’t look very special from the outside, but this place seriously a hole in the wall you don’t wanna miss.
Owner’s bad treatment. I have nothing against the food but i have worked here for a while. During my time here i have seen employees leave left and right. The food is good, but if you knew how the owner treats most of the employees i doubt a lot of people will ever eat here again. She is constantly looking to hire for new people, no ones fault but hers. During my time here one of the employees even told me to look for a new job and that working here is not worth it.
Amazing!!. Love everything here! The sushi is the best in town no questions about it! I eat here 1-2 times a week. Great people, clean restaurant and delicous sushi!
