SUPER YUMMO!. You can tell how good a takeout joint is by the soup & the egg rolls. I say that because they’re the least expensive items on the menu & many restaurants don’t bother making the effort with little return. Their wonton soup & egg rolls are the best I’ve had since moving down here. The broth is flavorful and the wontons are perfect. Nice tight bundles of goodness and not over cooked. The egg rolls are as God intended, crispy and not greasy on the outside, moist cabbage and super flavorful on the inside. The rest of the menu is just as amazeballs! They don’t shy from spicy when asked and the General Tso’s is out of this world! Ask for super spicy! Great place- I hope they become a permanent fixture.

Hot & sour soup + chicken wings A+++. We love everything we get at China Taste. Fast and friendly service, always fresh and tasty ingredients. Egg foo yung, moo goo gai pan are our favorites, along with the tasty chicken wings which we have often picked up for a picnic on the beach. Hot & sour soup is so good, I buy large size and enjoy all week for lunch.
Better than Ho Wok but worse than China Gourmet.. China Taste makes good food and has good service. It’s been around for a few years and was my first choice until China Gourmet opened up.If you live in Seven Oaks this is your best Chinese takeout option, if you live in Meadow Point China Gourmet is your best takeout option. Simple as that. I have no complaints about China Taste, it’s definitely above average and worth a try to see if it’s more to your personal taste.
