Great Crab. I went with 2 friends on Saturday night. Two of us had the AYCE crab and it was great. The crab were large and very good. The shells snapped right open, making the meat very easy to remove. The flavor was good and the live music was also good. The music was a duet playing country. Not my favorite music, but they were good. The third person in our party had the boneless wings. The were also very good. They had a lot of flavor and just the right amount of heat for hot wings. The kicker for the night was the Dr. Pepper cake. I don’t know who came up with the idea, but it is incredible. Waitress was polite and the wait for crab refills was short. When I visit Dade City it will be my new go to place.
I went there last night with my daughter and her grandma. Food was good, atmosphere was good, music volume good, service was GREAT. except grandma got sprite instead of water. That’s okay the waitress was super awesome ;). I’ll be going back. Kyle Jacobs
Great Crab. We had Dinner at Doc’s and we went there for their all U can eat crab legs. First the service was great we had their clam chowder first and it was excellent. The crab came soon after we finished our chowder and the crab was fresh and hot and the shells were crisp and had a good snap to them. I have only good things to say about Doc’s the staff was friendly and the manager stopped by our table to ask if everything was OK and we told him we were enjoying their great crab and would return again.
Great. Sat at the bar because the place was packed. The bar tender Kim took our order gave us some tips on the food and we will be back. All you can eat crab legs for 23.99 YUMYUM! The fish and shrimp lightly battered good taste, good portion size. It was our first time here and not our last. All the customers seem to be having a great time and so did we.
Good for RVs. We drive through Dade City 2-4-6 times a year. There is room for us to park our motorhome towing a car across the side street. The food is good, reasonably priced and the service is just fine. We asked the manager about the negative reviews on-line and he told us it is from fired employees. We have eaten here twice and like it very much. Husband had special: burger and fries for $5. I had tomato stuffed with chichen salad. Both were exceptionally good. Don’t believe what you read on-line.
NOT what the doctor ordered. Some friends and I went to an event on 6/2/13, the event was okay… But the food left something else to be desired. 3 hamburgers were ordered and ALL THREE were RAW, service so was soooooo clueless it wasn’t even funny, and when I paid my bill THANK GOD my credit card paid for my friends bill and not someone else’s.Return????? I think NOT!
Please improve. I’m only writing thins review because I want this place to remain in the community. The atmosphere is nice and the location is a great motorcycle destination. I’ve gone there now 5-6 times trying to like the place. The servers are almost always clueless about the menu and it seems have very little experience in the business. At least 1 out every 3 times I order another beer the server forgets. The food is marginal at best and usually takes way longer than it should. I can confirm that the celery with the wings is ONE stalk. The carrots were really not carrots but a little pile of curls created with a peeler. The waffle fries are okay the regular fries blow. BTW waffle fries are an upcharge. This place is exactly what happens when someone with enough money thinks they know how to run a restaurant. Please hire someone that has a clue and remain in business, this community needs a place like this.
