The food here is delicious, if you can get past the random pieces of gristle that may enter your mouth from the chicken. Do NOT eat the sweet and sour pork, the pork was rancid. There is actually tons of MSG in the food, unlike Kathy says. I’ve witnessed cooks drop food and utensils on the floor, pick them off the ground, and continue to use them. I’ve also watched the cooks rinse their hands off with ONLY water for about two seconds after using the restroom. You can confirm my accusations, by simply reading their health inspections. As for the staff, the majority of them are very friendly and helpful. I honestly feel sorry for them. On numerous occasions, I’ve heard Kathy screaming at her staff (usually from the kitchen while I was in the dining area.) She belittles her employees until they’re no longer the happy server I met at the beginning of my experience. Overall, the main problem lies in the hands of the owner, Kathy. She is the type of woman to smile in your face, and talk shit about you immediately after you leave.
Wonderful Chinese restaurant and take out. Thank you for not cooking is how the owner greets you and it is not just a turn of phrase. The staff genuinely cares that you have an excellent experience that includes well prepared tasty Asian cuisine, clean atmospheric seating and personal service. Even the takeout is done with care, the sauces sent separately from the fried beef in their Peking Beef, for example. This keeps the food from getting soggy. Can’t recommend enough. If you’ve only tried their lunch buffet, you are missing out. Their selection of fresh items cannot be properly represented under a heat lamp. Enjoy!

I’ve been here many times, the food was good, not like any of those other Chinese places. My only issue was the way the employees get treated. We had a female server, who was our favorite that seemed to get picked on just about every day she had worked. Very upsetting, haven’t seen her in a while.
Great little chinese food place. We now make it a regular thing to get takeout from Golden Inn. The restaurant is not very big, but it’s nice and clean inside. The food is always excellent. This is a very good place to try!
A Happy Surprise!. We dined at the Golden Inn restaurant with a large group of friends. We had seen the positive reviews and decided to give it a try. What a wonderful experience! The service was exceptional, especially considering we had a large party. The General Tso’s chicken and the papaya salad were amazing! Complimentary desserts, too! What a happy surprise! We will be back!
