Rude. I came in here with my mother in law in the new port Richie location. The restrooms were dirty. They did not want to wait in us. They use the outside chairs for the inside so no one can sit in the patio the service is just plain rude.
Ate here last weekend with friends and everything was very good. Enjoyed all of the meal. I’m glad that I saw the other reviews their Thanksgving dinner because I was going to there for Thanksgiving. Steak is their specialty; sometimes it fails when restaurants try to branch out it fails.
Fraud Alert. The restaurant used to be great. I have had the filet mignon there several times. This past trip to the restaurant I order the filet mignon. I was served sirloin cut in the shape of a filet. I stated this and was told that I did not know what I was talking about. The manager was rude about the situation. I have since talked to others that were served sirloin in place of the steak they ordered.
Unsure what is worse the owner, the food, or the service
Disappointed. Have been wanting to visit Harold Seltzers in Port Richey so my husband and I visited today…we were so disappointed. The steak had a good flavor but was not cooked as ordered. The salads were small, the baked potato was small and we had to ask for rolls. The chicken was ok but we can go to Sioux City Steakhouse for half the price. The salads are small also, and since mgmt change the staff is afraid to bring out extra rolls but all in all we decided we prefer it and service is much better.
Worst Thanksgiving Dinner ever. Here to visit my Dad and to enjoy a good turkey dinner. What we got for $16 a plate was processed lunch meat turkey and vegetables that tasted like leftovers. Nothing like the quality it was when It was the father’s restaurant. Great disappointment. I refused to eat the turkey. The Cesar salad was good but no fresh ground pepper.
