Plain. Bland.. I ordered fried rice which literally just looked like rice with soy sauce on it and nothing mixed in. It had no flavor at all. The chicken lo mien was tasteless. Everything looked delicious so it was very disappointing.
Not sure what happened to this place. Years ago it was my go to lunch place, good food at great prices, at least for lunch. if you got the lemon chicken, you could even get a delicious breaded chicken breast lunch for a great price. Lately though, it’s all thigh meat in all all entrees, the food just tastes stale and leftover, and the service has gotten surly. There are too many other places to go out here to keep putting up with Ho Wok. Sad, I’ll always remember when you had good food at great lunch prices.

Your food was barely good enough to order at our laziest, and has now been replaced by another third rate ‘Chinese’ restaurant.
Good food at great prices. This is a small take out place but the food is awesome. The guy who took my order wasn’t the friendliest person but who cares its not a sit down restaurant so you only have to deal with him during the order process. The food is so AMAZING that I could care less about anything else. I will definitely return to get food from here. I might even try to make the guy at the counter smile maybe he was having a bad day. Does anyone know how to say SMILE in Chinese?
Ho Wok Chinese. I’ve been eating here for years now and the food is always consistently good. The owners like to talk to me and make me feel welcome. As unhealthy as this sort of food is, theirs isn’t greasy and cheap tasting like Panda Express. Some people prefer that stuff, but I am addicted to Ho Wok. This is my favorite restaurant in Wesley Chapel, especially since it’s locally owned and operated.
The only open kitchen Chinese restaurant that uses REAL fried rice, and NOT the yellow ones.
Best in the area. This has to be the best Chinese food in the area..They use the real fried rice, not the yellow one with no bean sprouts.Crab rangoons are not the sweet ones.My family loves this restaraunt.We always go here
