BAD SERVICE=BAD FOOD. So over time this place has gone downhill and i stopped going to dine in. After a few months I decided to give it a chance and call for takeout. I called and placed my 3 rolls order and was told to come pick it up in 20 min. so i waited 30 min. and went to pick it up. upon arrival there were a few people seated and three people waiting in the front counter that no one bothered to attend to. It was not bisy and neither the waitresses nor the chef wanted to make eye contact with any of the customers. I waited in line for about 15 min. and no one came over to help me or the customers in front of me so I left and went to Tonbos across the street. Got my rder and went home and enjoyed the sushi when i was done I received a call from Kazus telling me that my order was ready for pick up…..lol…2 hours later…Kazus has now hit rock bottom and is a joke…cant compete with Tombos and their prices.

Amazing sushi!. They have amazing sushi! They seem like a hole in the wall from the outside but the inside is actually really nice! Best sushi I have had in a long time!
You CANNOT eat sushi elsewhere!. Those writing reviews saying anything but awesome things about Kazu’s are absolutely delusional. There is not a single place that compares in quality–and you most certainly get what you pay for. We have been going to Kazu’s at least once a week for years now, and Kazu and his staff have never skipped a beat! Every dish is to die for and you spend less there then you might spend at any other restaurant. The portions are huge and anything with spicy tuna is killer. Because of this man’s food, sushi is my favorite food and when it comes down to where we want to eat no one ever objects Kazu’s!
Very poor quality now. Used to be great, but now it is unclean, rancid, and rude. Gone from 5 star to – zero – Avoid!
Love Kazu’s. We have been going to Kazu’s for years. I travel for business and try sushi in different cities. I always love coming back to Kazu’s. I am so happy he landed in Port Richey, FL.
I’ve been a fan since the day they opened. Love this place. It’s the only place we eat sushi – nothing compares … the prices are great, the food is outstanding and fresh (not just the sushi) and the wait staff is phenomenal. It’s a testament to their ability to build a clientele that they are still doing well in a nearly-abandoned strip mall … if only they could move to a better location …. but it’s clean and friendly and the food’s fantastic. Everybody seems to know each other, which is one of the fun things about being a sushi-consumer. 5 stars from me …
