Sadly a disappointment. Have heard good things, but was very disappointment with flavor of food. The rice looked like it was pre cooked and warmed back up. It lacked flavor and the only thing that had flavor was the beans that were way too salty and that’s all they tasted like. I could cook better quality at home with a bag of Vigo rice and canned beans. The Cuban sandwich has a good taste, but not the best I have had. I think once you have had great Cuban food, it’s hard to top it, or even come close. Go to La Teresita, cheaper and way better, but just a commute.
Horrible. Family and friends told me about the horrible experience they had here today with the owner. After 2 hours it was realized that the ticket was lost but the owner took no responsibility for the issue and instead when a complaint was made about the food, the owner questioned how the guest placed the order. He told the guests that he didn’t want people that complain to come back…not smart for a small local business, news will travel fast!
Owner was Mean to the staff that actually helped me. Nothing was said to the woman that was supposed to make my Cuban sandwich and was just standing there. Must have been family. The food is decent enough, but not worth the prices. When a manager doesn’t address an issue’s catalyst and yells at their helpful employees in front of patrons, I shudder to think what happens in the kitchen, behind the door.
