Hidden gem. This little restaurant is tucked into the corner of nondescript strip mall in Land O Lakes but, boy, is it good. Nothing fancy, just solid pancakes, eggs, home fries, and breakfast meats. I loved the country fried steak. My girls enjoyed their omelettes. My wife raved about the sausage. Outdoor seating is the place to relax when the weather is mild. We just discovered this hidden gem, but we will be back.

My favorite. I enjoy going here whenever possible. Yes sometimes the service is a bit slow but I have never had a problem with my food. When you go out to eat you shouldn’t be in a rush so sit outside and enjoy your breakfast at the breakfast nook. I recommend it to anyone.

Waited over an hour!! Never again. We waited over an hour today March 30th 2014 for 2 simple breakfast sandwiches. The waitress never refilled our coffee while we waited. When we got up to leave the waitress told us their computer systems were new and they have a new cook….New or not it can’t take over an hour to make bacon egg and cheese regardless we’re never going back again.

Won’t be back. I have been a patron of this restaurant for many years. However, the service has deteriotated to a point that my most recent visit, Mar 10, 2013, will be my last. I often go there for breakfast on my own and try to go when it is least crowded. Sunday mornings around 6:30-7:30 was usually perfect. This past Sunday I got there around 7:45. Including myself, there were a total of 3 tables inside occupied and 2-3 outside. Not at all crowded and there was a wait staff of at least 5–maybe 6. I might as well have been invisible. After taking my order, the waitress didn’t bring my coffee until I flagged her down. A different young lady brought my meal. NO ONE stopped by my table to check on me or refill water or coffee. I had been finished for almost 10 min before my check was brought. The last few times I have been there I actually had to go to the kitchen area to get my bill, again, not crowded. The wait staff was essentially having a party it seemed and customers were, I guess, an annoyance. Anyway, this has been trending for months now…won’t be back. Tis a shame, I like the food tho it is a little overpriced. I don’t go out to eat to be irritated!

Very yummy but service a bit slow. I live in the area and have visited several times now with the hubs. We really enjoy the food, but it seems the time it takes to get to the table is kinda slow, and I’m not a very demanding diner. Granted, we have gone on weekends where it was busier, but the last time we went it was not so busy and the food still took a rather long time to get to the table. But it sure is worth the wait. Service is consistently pretty good, too, except for the wait for the food but that’s not always the server’s fault. Used to wait tables back in the day, so I understand! They have the best sausage I’ve ever ate with breakfast. It’s a very meaty, juicy, sorta spicy and very flavorful link type sausage, almost like a kielbasa for breakfast. They always make good eggs, coffee and grits. The biscuits are unbelievably good. The closest thing to perfect I’ve ever had and I’m a Southern gal who can appreciate a fine biscuit! We will still be back as often as possible. I still want to try their pancakes out!

I felt uncomfortable – too crowded and a bit dirty. Pancakes were good, coffee was ok but not worth going out for.
