OPA! Yummy for my tummy. Healthy Greek portions, the best tzatziki this side of Athens. I love that they have wheat pitas offered. Delicious soup, amazing baklava, slap your mama cheesecakes and my kids have a HG cannoli addiction. Their French fries are within my husbands high standards too. The salads are a healthy eaters dream. Well done peeps!!! My frequent muncher card gets A LOT of mileage here.

I tend not to eat at places that use styrofoam in protest because of the massive impact it has on the planet and the toxins that are leached when you use them, but yesterday I was feeling a bit under the weather and wanted to eat some comfort food. I went to the Hungry Greek because of the recommendation of a friend. When I ordered I asked specifically for my chicken pita and soup to be packaged in anything other than styrofoam. They did not comply, and ring pregnant that is not acceptable for keeping my body healthy. The food was terrible and service even worse considering it was past the lunch rush and not busy. I will not be going back and supporting them. Why is it so hard for restaurants to use alternative serving ware? They even acknowledged the problem with this.

Will NOT be back. For those of you who like even a teaspoon of potato salad in your greek salad, good luck. I have now picked up my fourth to go salad and after reminding them not to forget the potato salad, not a morsel of a potato. For $8 I’ll go to Publix.
