Wont return. Took a friend for his birthday a few days ago. Aside from the terrible service by our waitress, who was slow, unattentive, forgot that we were there for a birtbday and had absolutely no personality. I checked my bank account today and they over charged me 100$. When I called to speak to someone about the charge I was greeted by very unfriendly staff who only kept telling me that there was no manager. I understand a manager is probably who needs to correct this error, however there was no urgency to help, as in let me get your name and number I’ll have him call you back. The only good thing this place has going for them was our hibachi chef who was amazing. Sadly, I will never return again. I will pay a little more for the better service some place else.
HORRIBLE SERVICE. Last night I visited Tonbo for my Birthday celebration with family and friends. I thought it would be a fun idea to go to a Hibachi dinner; needless to say I was very upset with my experience. With my party of 12 which I called way ahead of time and made reservations for 8:00 pm, we waited over an hour to be seated. The hostesses kept apologizing to us as we were asking how much longer we would have to wait to be seated. They assured us it would be very soon as over an hour went by, we finally were seated. After that the waitress or whatever you want to call her took our drink order, 30 minutes later we were finally served our drinks by the COOK !! (After we had to complain numerous times) how pathetic is that? We sat there as there were at least 10 waitresses/hostesses lollygagging around talking and joking, meanwhile we can see our drinks sitting at the bar waiting. My boyfriend even had to get up and walk to the bar to get us drinks. It took another hour after that to finally have our food cooked (10:30pm)I will say the cook was very friendly and attentive while the rest of the staff did absolutely NOTHING! I think besides the cooks and bartenders, the ENTIRE staff needs to be replaced! This was very unprofessional and unorganized. I was so upset because I was looking forward to a fun evening and by the time we left (11:00 pm) we were beyond disgusted! The only reason I am even rating 1 star is because the food was excellent, but not worth all the waiting and horrible service.

Surprising! And it’s even more surprising that it’s in Port Richey. Great ambience … great decor, excellent food. The hibachi grill is terrific (though not happening at lunch). Sushi ifs spectacular… especially their Lobster Roll, not on the regular menu, you have to ask for it. Great place.

Have not eaten in but do not reccomend to go sushi. Bland tasteless and overpriced
Great food & ambience. Not only was the food excellent, but the chef was very entertaining too. Fresh veggies, fresh shrimp, chicken and beef – the entire package was fully satisfactory. The restrooms very clean too! Do recommend you go. Kids would love it too!
