Always a great experience at Vallartas you’ll find a constant and positive consistency in both the quality and preparation of the food as well as the hospitality and friendliness if it staff I’m not saying this as a first timer, out family has been dining at Vallartas since we moved to Tampa in 1999 this I a family run chain and you get that family feel as soon as the complimentary chips and salsa hit your table. This is the place you try something different than just a taco or burrito. Excellent Fajitas, Molecehete is heaven boiling in molten cheese, and the fresh shrimp in the Camaromes de mojo de ajo is perfect for rolling up in a warm soft tortilla filled with some sour cream and salsa. What a wonderful family and the mexican cuisine dining experience they bring to all of the Tampa area
I’m bummed because I wrote a recent review about how much I liked this restaurant and I was surprised at the low percentage of likes. Went back for a second time on 5/31. Enjoyed the food and drink again but just realized that an additional dollar (padded tip?) was added to my check when I looked at my bank statement. I suppose this could be an honest mistake but it would have been a difficult one to make on the adding machine. And we left a 20% tip. Not happy. :(19 May, 2014My husband and I eat at a couple of the los vallartas restaurants. We came across this one when we were in the area and thoroughly enjoyed it. The menu is generally the same as the other restaurants but the salsa was particularly good as were the Al Pastor tacos. They also have a very nice patio area to if you want to eat outside. Wait staff were very friendly. Will definitely return to this location.
