Only pizza my kids eat, me too…. This is as close your typical neighborhood restaurant that you always come back to when you leave home. We’ve been coming to Amici’s for quite a while & not that we have 3 children, they always love they’re pizza. It’s Amici or nothing! Aside from pizza, they have excellent dishes like the calzone with sauce, meat lasagna, cheese manicotti….. it’s truly delicious.. The service, BEAUTIFUL ATTENTION!! From the owner to the waiters, they’ve always been very hospitable.. this is the place where I could see my family going together even as they get older….By the way, ingredients could be more fresher…I saw the owner actually buying the fresh tomatoes and other vegetables from next door Publix supermarket because they ran out of them… I hope you never change Amici’s!!!
Highly recommend. We arrived at dinnertime and there were take-out customers already waiting. The tables were about half filled and we were promptly seated and greeted by a lovely young lady. She was helpful and answered any questions about the menu with cheerful enthusiasm. The restaurant is immaculate and charming. The drinks were served right away. Then the food began coming out, first soup (delicious) and hot, crusty garlic rolls that were not at all greasy; followed by the entree (larger than anticipated), steaming hot and fantastic. What flavor! We enjoyed our dinners and had also ordered a specialty Basil and Tomato Pizza. It was fantastic but we could only manage a slice each after that great dinner so it came home with us and made for a wonderful midnight snack. We highly recommend Amici’s and are grateful such a nice restaurant is in our neighborhood. We were so very happy with finding Amici’s where the food is good and the service is too; plus we are treated like valued guests.
Awesome service and even better food.. We come here all the time and have always have excellent service and the food is awesome. Definitely my favorite Italian restaurant in south Florida.
Amici’s is definitely the best Italian in south Florida! Everything on the menu is delicious, and the service is great.
Amici’ s has the best pizza in the world. Every Friday they serve the perfect meal at our home.
You may starve first…. My husband and I stopped in on a Friday, midday for beer and pizza. There were a few tables occupied the rest were dirty. After waiting for 10 minutes I flagged down the person impersonating a waitress and asked for a couple of beers. 10 minutes later a few girls walked in and were given immediate table service, I’m still waiting for a few beers and haven’t even asked for a pizza. So now after 25 minutes we dropped down some cash for the beer and went down Taft street to Mario’s for that beer and a delicious pizza, we were served right away and enjoyed every bite..
OMG. I had been looking forward to going to Amici’s after it had been recommended and I read the great reviews. Apparently I must have wandered into the wrong restaurant, with my two friends, because what we saw was not what we had expected. The place was poorly lit, with one table occupied, and two tables that had not yet been cleared from the previous diners. We waited 10 minutes before a server came over, and we asked about the uncleared tables. She said she would take care of them. After we placed our order, we watched our server stop to talk to some friends. After 10 minutes the dirty tables had not yet been cleared. I found the waitress and told her to cancel the order, something I had never done before. She shrugged indifferently! My friends and I then went to the best pizzeria/restaurant in Pembroke Pines, Santino’s on West Pines Blvd. Brightly lit, immaculately clean, superb service and the best pizza in the city (and the garlic rolls are free).
