If it wasn’t that I was with a friend that so graciously invited me for lunch, I would have said something at the restaurant. The service was not great either. I ordered baby back ribs. They were so tough I could barely get the meat off the bone and very chewy. I don’t know if they were not cooked properly or left over from the day before, but they were inedible. Eating bbq ribs is very messy. I had to ask twice for additional napkins. I had to flag her down again and she didn’t seem happy about it. I was so uncomfortable, was so very disappointed and did not enjoy my first experience at BJ’s. I would have spoken to mgr, but again I just did not want to hurt my 86 year old friend’s feelings. So I requested a to-go box and once I got home I tossed it out. I have no desire to return to this restaurant. One thing I know for sure, don’t order the baby back ribs on a Thursday at lunch time. On the positive, the chicken tortilla soup was mm good.
