Having been born and raised in Puerto Rico savoring its cuisine makes me a Qualified Reviewer. Allow me to share my experience: The food is very well prepared, portions are very generous and the price its more than worth the trip. The chicharrones de puerco are to die for. Arroz con gandules is savory and grainy. Alcapurrias de carne are delicious. If youre a real Boricua the Medalla surely compliments an awesome meal. Theres enough food served to have seconds at home. Stray away from the chuletas and the fish alcapurrias. Theyre edible but just ok. A must go to.
