Review for the DinnerChina Pavilion is a restaurant that moved from its location to, what I believe, to be a more dingier location. The general area is still rather nice, but I find the restaurant to be a bit less authentic and grungy. We came for dinner and the place was packed! However, I couldn’t seem to find many Asians there at all. Lots of western dishes and options presented, and it felt like a different restaurant than the one previous to it.I came with the family for dinner, so we ordered quite a bit. We started off with Jellyfish Salad with Cold Meats Platter. The appetizer itself was quite large (and expensive), but the jellyfish was very good, while the meats themselves were decent enough. Beef Brisket Hot Pot was decent with enough meat to feed a family of four, though they didn’t cook it long enough as much of the tendons and beef weren’t as tender as they should have been. Spicy clams and salt and pepper Seafood were subpar, and they definitely don’t make them as well as they used to.Food here declined from the old place. Can’t comment about the dim sum as I haven’t tried it at the new location just yet. The servers here were also clearly overworked as it looked as though they burned off hundreds of calories running all over the place and getting flagged down by any patron that would have them. HORRIBLE SERVICE. The food is great. The atmosphere is ok. THE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! We went on Mother’s Day, I understand they are going to be busy and service is going to be rushed and stressed out. However, when the waiter doesn’t clean the table, ignores you, basically throws the napkins, plates, forks, and cups at you. I mean we thought he broke the dishes the way he slammed them on the table. We had to beg other waitresses for our food and drinks. This waiter barely served us and seemed annoyed the whole time. When it came time to pay he was no where to be found so I had to walk to the front, and magically he was hovering over me to see what tip he was getting. I had to almost pry my credit card out of his hand to get it back. Overall, great food but the male waiter was horrible and rude.
Negative review. I’ve going there for the last 5 years is an excellent restaurant but tonight I was a little bit disappointed. I got to seat on the tables because I usually seat on a booth I noticed that one of your employees was touching the toes and hair all those things are noticeable since you have a great number of customers and you wouldn’t like to loose clientele.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! This place is nice looking inside but I have never had such slow , unfriendly , poor service in any restaurant ever! No silverware , no water, no plates , food took forever !!! We waited for an order and nothing came after waiting forever we asked and they told us there were out ! The waiter shooed us away like no one cared! I will never come here again!!!
TERRIBLE. Worst food ever!! Ordered take out, took over 90 minutes and food was disgusting!
Place was not clean. Had to ask for water never refilled the water when finished. Food was not great. The waitress didn’t even check if everything was alright. I would not recommend going to this place.
