Usually not worth the effort.. I’ve been to a few Cracker Barrels, and the food is usually pretty good. This particular Cracker Barrel would be the exception; I’ve gotten more cold food than hot. The wait is always way too long, the chicken and dumplings is bland, the gravy is bland, and the apples always have bits of stem left in them. Personally I think the price is a little high but that may be because this is the way I was taught to cook, so it’s hard for me to justify the cost. The biscuits are outstanding, and I sometimes want to go just for the biscuits and ham. I also like to pop into the shop to pick up Apple Butter. If you want eggs or pancakes, head somewhere else.

Mediocre food in the best of circumstances. Really bad service last time I was there. Won’t be back.
Distgusting greasy food.
There is nothing like a a good old fashioned southern meal! Eac item on the menu has that perfect southern charm. From country fried steak to delicious dumplings, each meal tastes as if it were homemade. When you go to Cracker Barrel you pay for the food and the enviroment because the walls are covered in tons of old stlye heirlooms that will interest you while you wait for the food to come. It’s a great value, very affordable and a place that the whole family will enjoy!
