I got my wedding cake from Edda’s and the cake was great. it was simple vanilla cake with a orange and pineapple filling and it was really tasty. I took my own design for the cake and they did it exactly as I wanted it.
Good Cakes but TERRIBLE Cust. Service. The cakes are great. However, the cust service is terrible. Walked in and a woman who worked there did not even greet me. Very unfriendly staff. It is apparrant that they hate their job. Unpleasant enviornment to walk into. You get better cust. service at Publix. Stay away from this place. Grades:Cust. Service: D-Cakes: ACleanliness: A-Price: B-
Terrible Customer Service. Spend your money elsewhere. First off I would never recommend Edda's cakes of Pembroke Pines forced to go with them b/c the hotel I was having my wedding at uses them. I personally did'nt like the taste. Was more like bread than cake. To try and make up for that I paid EXTRA for a strawberry filling. When I got the cake guess what was missing….the filling. Which was upsetting, esp since it tasted bad enough w/o it. When I called to tell them about what happened, I was expecting an apology and for them to try and correct the problem. They did neither. They were incredibly rude and then told me i couldnt prove! I guess they forgot I had the anniversary cake still. Some girl then said the manager would call me back to settle it. I never received a call back. I called back again myself and spoke with the manager, she too had the same bad attitude, but then aggreed to refund my money back to my credit card. She said it would take a few days but she would. 3 weeks later and nothing. I didnt bother call back because I dont have time to waste fighting with these unethical ppl. What I can do though is warn anyone not to go there. Entire staff has crappy attitudes, to go along with there crappy cake. What kind of company doesn;t stand behind there own work and there OWN MISTAKES!!!! Dont go. Esp if for a wedding, you already have enough to worry about.
