The wait staff was poor. So poor we left a very low tip. We checked our Amex bill and found the waitress changed the tip to higher amount. After calling, the night manager said it looks fine on their side and wouldn’t do anything. We are currently contesting the charge with Amex but it is outrageous that the restaurant didn’t make any effort to correct this.

Warm service, great cuban food smell as soon as you walk in and seated very quickly. The decor is very dated, but you can tell it’s a restaurant that has done well for years. Our waitress was very friendly and easily spoke in English and Spanish to accomodate everyone. We ordered the Tostones Camarones for appetizer, very good. The kids meals were palomillo steaks with rice perfectly prepared. What I Really liked was the fact that without asking, our waitress quickly cut the steaks for our kids in small bit size pieces. I had also asked for red beans, which were not on the menu for the night, but I was surprised when she delivered them with my meal. Great neighborhood feel with excellent high quality food

Save your money. Now that all the relatives have told you how great this place is let me give you my take as an outsider. The first thing I noticed was the table must have been wiped down with a dirty towel so having to clean it with our napkins was my first red flag. The menus were delivered and red flag number two was the menus were disgusting with examples of the food next to each entre. Even though my wife was ready to leave I said lets give it a chance. I had the pulled pork (lechon asdo) that was swimming in mojo and inedible. My wife and mother had the chefs special grilled chicken which was so tough I though it was reheated in the microwave from two days prior. Dry tough chicken would be putting it politely. The beans and rice were edible at best and my dog was extremely happy with the leftovers. There are many Cuban places to try before this one. It was my first and last visit.

I am a quite picky eater as well as my brother… I ordered steak palomilla w/ blk beans, rice and plantains, and it was enough for me, my mom and my brother.. It was awesome, and I am prego so that just hit the spot for me, and I can’t wait to order from them again!!!!!
