Great Food…poor Customer Service. The quality of the food is excellent, and so are the prices. However, the wait times are long, and even after ordering by telephone the food is not ready when one goes to pick it up. Wish the staff were more friendly and considerate of the customers.
Excellent Food!. I frequent this place often so I figured its time for a review. -Cleanliness, the minute you walk in, you will notice how clean it is.-Food, the food is excellent, from the curries to the bread baked daily to the pastries, this place will not disappoint-Grocery, on the other side is a grocery that has a generous variety from all parts of the Caribbean.-Customer Service, the customer service is always professional and friendly-Consistency, some restaurants can be very inconsistent, this place is very consistent.
The food is okay, however the wait is ridiculous! I like their breads which are baked fresh.
This is one of the BEST Caribbean restaurants in the United States! The food is amazing & the time it takes to get your order is great for home-style cooking. The lunch specials are great deals…it is a wonderful Guyanese restaurant. The management & staff are awesome!!!
A source for excellent Guyanese & West Indian Food. Sheiks Bakery serves excellent, Guyanese size (i.e., smaller and more manageable than Trini or Jamaican sized), Roti & Dahl Pouri, along with excellent Curry (chicken, beef & goat).Their baked goods seem better than I remember them being in Guyana. The Butter Flaps are definitely better than any I had while growing up in Guyana. Their Plait Bread is superb and the whole wheat version, even better.My wife and I love their food.
BELLYFULL!. Warm and friendly folks with food and sweet mouth pastries so clean. healthy, tasty and delicious. Take the whole family and dine in. Love everything on the menu!
Delicious. I love the Indian Cusine and caribbean infulence at Sheik’s Bakery and Cafe’. Don’t tell my boss, but i love it so much that I got a job there just so I could eat their food.
