Yummieeeeeeeeeee!!!. I order there grilled chicken Cobb Salad and it was out of this world, the chicken was tender, the veggies crisp and it included a fried egg instead of a boiled egg which put a flavorful twist on the salad. Service was great and I truly enjoyed every bite.
YUMMO!. Went with a friend and shared an order of Smashburger sweet potato fries and fried veggies (carrots & green beans). LOVED ’em!!! They top theirs with olive oil, rosemary and a touch of garlic. I don’t normally like anything (not even ketsup) on my fries, but these were wonderful. Had a classic cheeseburger and it was excellent. My only complaint is that I would like more choices in my cheese…like Swiss or Munster instead of American. Have already been back for another burger and sweet potato fries!
Worst ever. Was in the plaza so gave it a try. Nice decor is ALL Pembroke Smash had going for it. Burger was average, nothing special, about BK level. Fries were cold and burnt and dripping with what tasted like old, used for a month, oil. I was done eating before they brought me my drink, tho I asked 3 times. All this for about twice the money and 4 times the amount of time to receive the meal at your table. Would NEVER go back.
Disappointment. I decided to check this place out as it recently opened in our area….On their website, they said they cook the veggie burger on a separate grill, well guess what, they don’t- they don’t have enough room to do so, and their fries- and anything that’s fried, all goes in to the same fryer and oil….it’s actually not very appetizing. I went with another friend who ended up getting a regular burger and sweet potato fries- his burger wasn’t tasty at all and the fries were cold- and they had no one in there at the time. I’d been really excited to try this place, but probably won’t go back- it wasn’t clean either and the staff was a bunch of kids standing around chatting.
Delicious. Just checked this place out and my that’s one good cheese burger!! My only gripe and I am sure this will change over time is that it is in a new plaza with news stores( Whole Foods) drawing in lots of people. I went for dinner and the line was out the door. So be prepared to wait at this time until things get less exciting.
