Great place! Had the scottish stout, and fish & chips. Holy crap! The fish was amazing! I’ll go again in a heartbeat.
I decided to have a classic dish which is commonly served at The Pub. The fish and chips had quite the generous portion and it came along with a wedge of lemon and a delicious house-made tartar sauce. I liked how the chips, or French fries for Americans, were thick and hearty. The batter was rather dense but I found it to be just fine and pretty flavorful. It was crispy on the outside and the fish was flaky and still piping hot when it arrived at the table. It went so well with the tartar sauce; the trick was to squeeze the lemon into the sauce. miamiculinarytours.com
We had an ok experience compared to the great ones weve had in the past. They are hiring new unexperienced staff and he were charged more than supposed to. Food was excellent as always
Great service, food & most importantly a good beer selection! Would like to see more rotating casks & variety of porters & stouts though…
Beer, Beer, Beer!. Another review and another standard sentence, if I lived closer I would be a regular at this place. No BS Folks. This Pub is a great place to have some beers, relax, talk with your friends, or watch a game. I didn’t eat…I just drank..lol. The bartender recommended a Smithwicks ale topped with Guinness and I must say it was rather tasty. The ale cut the bitterness of Guinness and it made the beer go down really smooth. There is no way in hell I could drink Guinness all day, but mixed this way I could. As stated by other reviews, this place has a nice vibe. It’s a large joint with all the British design points including the huge Union Jack Flag painted on the ceiling. In the dining room there is real long table with the two huge chairs at the end and it’s pretty damn cool. Man, talk about living the Excalibur dream sitting at that thing. Next time I go I’m going to be sitting at that $h*t eating with my hands…LOL. But as a guy who smells like beer and old spice, I’m a sucker for the women in the kilts or are they private school uniform skirts…not sure but I like them:) This place is worth the trip and I’ll be back for sure. Remember to tell them Dan sent you and Stay Hungry!
This is the best Spinach Artichoke dip I have ever had. The garlic flavor is exactly right. I would have this over and over again.
Nice atmosphere, great beer selection (my favorite is Sneider-Wiesse) and the fried pickles are tasty.
